Rosario

It's kinda' weird to see Dolphy here in Rosario(a 2010 Metro Manila Film Festival entry) because he's Father Jejemon(another one of 'em entries). Is the Phillipine movie industry that short of old actors who could pull this off without bein' the main character in another entry?

"No. I just like to get any movie role that comes my way, so give me the damn script!"

Rosario(Jenelyn Mercado) is the typical Fil-Am. She's a fuckin' gamer, and is not hesitant in mixing it up with the boys. It's funny that bein' guilty of adultery durin' the those times(American occupation era) merits a trip to Hong Kong.

Lucky for her she wasn't in Iran.

I believe Dennis Trillo's character won(or at least nominated) in the MMFF for best costume or somethin'.

Can't believe his outfit has outdone Agimat and Enteng Kabisote's more elaborate costumes.

Automatic nominee.

And  I almost failed to mention that Philip Salvador's mustache doesn't look real! The fucker should have just grown his own hair.

Definitely fits in his budget.

This flick should have won the 2010 MMFF because of the simple reason that all other entries were crap!

The current state of Philippine cinema.

But even if this was my bet to win it all this year, I only give this film a 5.5.
