The A-Team
All I can say was that this movie was worth the wait. It was really nostalgic to hear the original A-Team theme bein' played over and over in the movie.
Hannibal was well played by Qui-Gon Jinn Liam. A leader he definitely was , just like George Peppard. But here, instead of bein' 4 Vietnam vets, they're Iraq vets! Oh the times they are a-changin'!
Face(Bradley Cooper) was a comic relief(remember The Hangover?) and Jessica Biel was hot! Plus I somehow knew that the original Face Peck(Dirkk Benedict) was the other guy who was doin' a tan and Cooper asked him, "How do you protect your face?". Or somethin' to that effect.
And I can't recall Murdock(Sharlto Copley) bein' that crazy. But at least he flies a good chopper! The real Howlin' Mad Murdock(Dwight Schultz) also made a cameo by playin' Murdock's neurologist. I understand that George Peppard can't make a cameo because he's dead, but why didn't Mr.T make a cameo too?
Quinton "Rampage" Jackson just somehow barely pulled off playin' BA Baracus. For one, he's virtually a Hollywood movie virgin. And secondly, he didn't make a clear effort imitating the bad-ass accent that Mr-T has and instead, opted to carry a Memphis, TN accent. Man he didn't even get to say, "I ain't gettin' in no plain fool!" Sacha Baron Cohen did a better job impersonating BA Baracus in Ali G In The House, or some other Sacha movie.
All in all, I give this movie a 4 out of 5 stars. I was expecting a floppish(if there's such a word) remake. But this one clearly exceeds expectations!
