Too bad the Maradona-coached team was thrashed by Germany 4-0. I really didn't think that'll happen. I was predicting more like Argentina 4, Germany-2, or something along those lines. Oh well, Spain needs all the firepower and defense it could muster to beat the well-oiled German war machine.
Good thing that the soothsayer octopus in Germany picked Spain to win against Deutschland later. That octopus has a very high percentage when it comes to picking World Cup winners. It even picked the Serbians to win against the Germans back in their Group D battles.
